Dying to dance but bored with house, endless electro and  crappy rap of the
MTV kind? Look no further than BONGO, a new series of club nights kicking
off at Ilokivi, the 2nd floor, on Saturday the 6th of October. Celebrating
organic forms of dance music, Bongo djs Anna S (who spinned with the stars
in Sao Paolo) and Jussi Kantonen (gigged this year at Nouveau Casino of
Paris) will offer nothing but hot, percussive non-commercial sounds, from
sizzling dancefloor jazz to Brazilian beats, via fat funk and dirty
underground disco. Hear vjs will provide warped visuals and the bar is open
till late .

November the 11th, Bongo welcomes the extraorinary dj Aicha from Paris, for
a set of frenetic and glamorous disco of the secret and sinful kind. Hailed
as the new Dimitri and the Queen of the gay Parisian scene, she will take
you on a tour to New York City circa 1977 - you may never want to come back.
On 1st of December, dj Bunuel from Helsinki will present a night of funky
paellas and rare groove treasures.
